Performed in our Weston office, injections take under an hour and are delivered directly to the lips or surrounding area using a fine, small gauge needle. Some patients report a slight pinching feeling during the procedure. Topical anesthesia will be applied to minimize any discomfort. Immediately following treatments patients are free to leave the office. Dental work and massage should be avoided for two weeks following the procedure.

HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY PERIOD FOLLOWING RESTYLANE® SILK INJECTIONS?

There is no required recovery period following Restylane® Silk dermal and lip injections. Results can be seen almost immediately and will continue to develop over the next 10 days. The effects of Restylane® Silk can last up to 10 to 12 months with proper care and administration.
