Perlane®

Perlane®, like Restylane® is a dermal filler. This long-lasting gel helps lift and add volume to the skin with the desired result of diminishing fine lines. Made of a natural substance called hyaluronic acid, Perlane® it is a completely safe treatment that that is introduced to the skin with an ultra-fine needle. The hyaluronic acid in Perlane® simply supplements the body's age-depleted hyaluronic acid to plump-up the lip or to raise the skin and 'fill in' the particular wrinkle being treated.

The difference between Restylane® and Perlane® is the size of the particle (with Perlane® containing more hyaluronic acid). This means that Perlane® is a preferred option for filling deep lines while Restylane is ideal for fine lines or in thin skin.

The results of a Perlane® filler treatment tend to last six months to a year, a much longer than the typical results of collagen injections, which may only last three to six months.

By plumping the skin, Perlane® flattens folds in the cheek and chin areas to improve facial contours. It can also be used to smooth deep wrinkles and scars, and augment lips. Perlane® is an excellent treatment for wrinkle correction, lip enhancement, smile lines and deep folds.
